Raise Your Flag

Imahe
"Philippines is worth fighting for."           The declaration of independence is one of the most important milestones in Philippine history. The country was colonized by many nations for hundreds of years. Imagine achieving your freedom after all the hardships you’ve been through. It is priceless. Filipinos, raise your flags!               Since 1962, Philippine Independence Day has been celebrated every June 12 after President Diosdado Macapagal changed the date from July 4, the day when a treaty was made declaring the freedom of the Philippines from the United States.               This day is not just a regular holiday, it is this day that Filipinos remember the courage and sacrifices by soldiers and heroes who fought for our motherland. Inspired by their strength to fight and dedication to free the country against colonizers should be remembered by the generations of today and t...

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Imahe
THEMATIC ASSESSMENT IN ICT    I always have goosebumps whenever I am watching a documentary featuring women. A camera walking down a hall showing portraits of women who have different achievements and contributions which helped humanity inspires me to take higher risks and be braver. As the camera walked its way, the world is more protected. At that time, gender inequality was checkmated by queens. Gender inequality died the death it deserved, giving more space to women empowerment.          Women have gone through a lot in a male-dominated world. History books are living evidence of how women lived their life being oppressed and underestimated even our culture if only given the voice will narrate how women crawled to be at their own destinations. A lot of them were deprived of things that they deserve such as education, job opportunities, and rights. They were discriminated. They were never allowed to raise their voic...

Should you subject yourself to vaccination? It’s a risk but it is a risk for greater good.                  ...

Bravery Thousands of Stories to Tell

For bravery and gallantry in action during the period 19 to 24 January 1942, at Mabatang, Abucay, Bataan… In utter disregard for his own safety, he personally led his men, under heavy enemy fire and shelling, to the front lines, and supervised the removal of the dead and evacuation to the rear of all wounded enabling the Battalion Surgeon to administer the necessary first aid… This action, … which was over and above his duties, done under continuous heavy enemy fire and shelling, prevented a greater loss to the lives of the wounded and prevented the demoralization of the men in the line which would otherwise have resulted.
