Chapter 2 of 4

 "The sun of the second quarter may have set, but its afterglow within me will never fade!"

        Today is marked with marvelous weather. Warm, bright; the sunshine frolicking gaily on my warm cheeks. Such a day is in harmony with my task. 

        Chapter 2 of 4 is written. It cannot be summed up with just tasks and learnings. Mental breakdowns, failures, doubts, and mistakes — these are just words but it speaks a lot about my experience during this quarter.

        As I walked my journey during the second quarter of this school year, great cramming skills and procastination talent had been my companion. 

        During the second quarter, we explored the ever-vast contents of HTML. The 1st activity was a monster first then turned to a supportive friend — it was the hardest but it helped me a lot, the following tasks become easier. The learning I have gained was all about HTML tags, consequently, I learned how to independently make HTML files.  At first, I thought that there will be no blogs this quarter but I am wrong. But it seems to be a blessing in disguise because my writing skills become better and my vocabulary become wider.   

        Procastination was either my enemy or companion. Cramming results when I momentarily drift away from my responsibilities until I will notice that the day is almost over with no evidences of tasks done.

        There are many challenges I have encountered. Slow internet connection, poor time management, too much workload — these are the problems I experienced. Fortunately, I was able to survive from these by trying my best and being determined. Moving on, I will strive harder to gain new knowledge. 

        The sun of the second quarter may have set, but its afterglow within me will never fade!

         Parting with the second quarter, I stretch out my hand, in the days I would once more inhale the fresh, bitter fragrance of long tedious blogs or essays with procastination knocking loudly.

Education Admist Covid-19

  Since we are not allowed to go school for face to face learning, the Department of Education encouraged everyone to stay at home and do the modular and blended learning as a temporary alternative way of continuing the basics of education. Students, parents and educators around the world are feeling the extraordinary ripple effect of covid-19.  While governments and health officials are doing their best slowing down the outbreak.  Global education systems are collaborating to collectively respond and provide quality education for all during these difficult times.  It is fair to say that no one was prepared to reorganize education at scale during the covid-19 crisis. Sad to say that the quality of education that we are taking right now is not actually the kind if education that we used to have.  We are not learning enough because of the absence of our teachers in front of us. LETTER TO PRESIDENT

  Dear Mr.President,   As a Filipino, I’d never felt any more sincere and nationalistic president as you are. You certainly cares for the poor, the environment, and the Filipino culture. Aside from that, you are strong willed fighting against crime, corruption, and illegal drugs. You are far different than any other past presidents that the Philippines had. Though you had lapses and own weaknesses, your leadership and tough support from the military and other countries makes you a better strategist than other past presidents.   There is no perfect president. I dislike you on disrespecting religion and women as well. You also have a foul and tackless mouth full of curses that is totally inappropriate especially during formal occasions.   I also hated the fact when you handed to China our sovereign territory on a silver platter. All the other countries are rooting for us in our struggle against China yet you threw it all like it was trash.   ...

"Viva Vigan!

        Heritage houses, cobblestone streets, kalesas, historic attractions, delicious cuisine, magnificent festivals—these spell out Vigan City.          As one of the best preserved Spanish colonial towns in the world, Vigan City has a unique charm that anyone would be attracted to. In fact, you might not see much of its classic architecture and matching cobblestoned streets elsewhere in the Philippines.
