WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Imahe
THEMATIC ASSESSMENT IN ICT    I always have goosebumps whenever I am watching a documentary featuring women. A camera walking down a hall showing portraits of women who have different achievements and contributions which helped humanity inspires me to take higher risks and be braver. As the camera walked its way, the world is more protected. At that time, gender inequality was checkmated by queens. Gender inequality died the death it deserved, giving more space to women empowerment.          Women have gone through a lot in a male-dominated world. History books are living evidence of how women lived their life being oppressed and underestimated even our culture if only given the voice will narrate how women crawled to be at their own destinations. A lot of them were deprived of things that they deserve such as education, job opportunities, and rights. They were discriminated. They were never allowed to raise their voic...

Imahe
" The   more   afraid   you   are ,  the  more the world gets scarier. If we don't stop being afraid, when will this pandemic stop?"                   The Corona Virus Pandemic is changing our lives the way we never expected before. SEASON OF RENEWAL

Imahe
"An important season in the life of a Christian has just begun. It is not a season related to weather but rather a time of reflection as a follower of Jesus. It is the season of Lent." THE SEASON OF LENT There are two major seasons of importance in the life of a Christian. One is Advent, the time leading up to the celebration of the birth of Jesus. And we have entered the other season, Lent, the 40 days (excluding Sundays) prior to Easter Sunday. Lent is a time of self-examination and introspection of our spiritual lives and a time of repentance to prepare for Easter. These are, of course, things that should mark believers' lives throughout the year, but Lent is a time in which we give particular focus to this aspect of life. GIVING SOMETHING UP One practice that is commonly associated with Lent is fasting. Again, this is a spiritual discipline that should be a part of our lives all year long but is often neglected. Many people will fast duri...
